About Us:
Black Girls Build Inc is a nonprofit organization empowering Black women and youth by introducing them to the construction and skilled trades industries through hands-on DIY learning experiences. Our mission is to break barriers, build confidence, and create career pathways in industries where Black women have been historically underrepresented. Through workshops, mentorships, and community projects, we equip participants with real-world skills that open doors to economic independence, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
At Black Girls Build Inc, we believe that when we teach a woman to build, we empower her to build her future — and her community.

Our vision is to create a future where the builders of tomorrow look like the communities they serve — diverse, powerful, and unstoppable. Through our work, we strive to transform lives, neighborhoods, and the industries that shape them.
