I am Raychell

Hello! I am Raychell Ming. Born and raised in Saint Louis, MO, in the North City neighborhood. I was blessed with a loving upbringing by both my parents, Shanta and Ray. They instilled in me a strong sense of purpose. My childhood was a vibrant tapestry of love, joy, and community, where neighbors became like family, always looking out for one another. Driven by my passion for making a difference, I embarked on a journey to classes at St. Louis Community College, laying the foundation for a lifetime of service. As I advanced in my career in customer service, I was fortunate to meet my wonderful husband and raise three incredible children! Becoming a mother and navigating the challenges of the pandemic ignited a newfound sense of purpose within me. I envisioned a life of empowerment, independence, and leadership, which inspired me to take a leap of faith and establish my own restaurant business in 2019. With unwavering faith in God and unrelenting determination, I turned my vision into a thriving reality. While I cherished running by business, I felt an insatiable calling to do more. As a longtime DIY enthusiast and home repair aficionado, I rediscovered my passion for creativity and innovation. This led me to join Black Girls Build Inc., where I discovered a sisterhood that fostered growth, learning, and empowerment. Throughout my journey, I have been guided by an unshakeable desire to inspire, to uplift, and to make a lasting impact in the lives of others. Whether its serving my community, mentoring young girls, or pursuing creative passions, I strive to ignite a fire within women and girls, empowering them to live in their purpose and achieve their dreams.
